Qualification:

  • Diploma/B.Tech/B.E. in Electronics, Electrical, ECE, IT, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Certification in CCTV, Networking, or Security Systems will be an added advantage.

Skill set:

Technical Skills

  • Knowledge of Analog and IP CCTV Systems.
  • Hands-on experience with DVR, NVR, PTZ Cameras, and Video Management Software.
  • Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, Switching).
  • Understanding of structured cabling standards.
  • Familiarity with CCTV brands such as Vantage, Hikvision, Dahua, CP Plus, Honeywell, Bosch, etc.

Soft Skills

  • Good communication and customer-handling skills.
  • Problem-solving and troubleshooting ability.
  • Ability to work independently and in field environments.
  • Willingness to travel within assigned locations.

Profile:

Installation & Commissioning

  • Installation, configuration, and commissioning of CCTV cameras, DVRs, NVRs, and related equipment.
  • Cable laying, termination, and testing of Cat6, Fiber, and Power Cables.
  • Integration of cameras with networking infrastructure.
  • Basic configuration of switches, routers, and IP-based surveillance systems.

Maintenance & Troubleshooting

  • Preventive and corrective maintenance of CCTV systems.
  • Troubleshooting hardware and software issues in cameras, DVRs, NVRs, storage devices, and network equipment.
  • Diagnosing faults and replacing defective components.
  • Ensuring maximum uptime of surveillance systems.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintaining installation and maintenance records.
  • Preparing daily, weekly, and monthly service reports.
  • Updating inventory and spare parts consumption records.
  • Escalating critical issues to senior engineers and management.
