Managing Director of Vantage at BRICS Summit 2017

Managing Director of Vantage Integrated Security Solutions (P) Limited, Mr. Parmod Verma, represented Indian business community at the 9th Annual BRICS Summit 2017, held in Xiamen, Fujian province, China. Attended by the heads of government of the five member states Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa. BRICS Summit 2017 was centered around the theme of ‘Stronger Partnership for a Brighter Future of the emerging economies. Mr. Verma was among the Indian delegation, headed by Indian Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi. Delegation included politicians, bureaucrats, business leaders and journalists from India. In an interview to Chinese journalist Mr. Verma emphasized the importance of an open and inclusive world economy enabling all countries and people to share the benefits of globalization. Recalling his long term business cooperation with China Mr. Verma accentuated the fact that India and China have emerged as leading economies of the world. Both countries possess vast resources and technological advancements to support their fast growth. It is essential for both countries to build a platform for industrial dialogue and negotiations to resolve trade frictions and achieve mutually beneficial results, he concluded.
